Had my third and longest visit to BJC for 10 weeks during March through to May 2011. Visited the park on 27 ocassions and saw tigers 15 times. Also had countless rhino, elephant, python, deer and wild boar sightings and all traveling on foot with the excellent guide Sitaram (maybe the best guide in Bardia). Identified over 130 species of birds.
Spent a lot of time in the friendly village and had many day walks in the community forest and surrounding areas.
Teaching in the school was very enjoyable and made me a lot of new friends.
The staff at BJC treated me like one of their family making this trip the most memorable to date.
Accomodation a BJC is basic by western standards but vey comfortable with all the facilities you need for a memorable stay. The food is excellent and compared to many places in India and Nepal I have stayed at before, I have never been ill at BJC. This says a lot for the freshness and quality of the food they cook.
I plan to visit again next year, as after visiting most of the other national parks in India, Bardia stands head and shoulders above them as the best place to see Tigers and realy wild wildlife on the Indian subcontinent.
    Thank You my friends

very kind people, guest us in a magical camp, feed us real nice, took us trekking in the jungle (saw a running tiger),
helped us with buss tickets to Kathmandu.
about 18 hours drive, I realized I’ve forgot two portable mp3 players.
it’s a good thing I took a visit-card, I’ve contacted Kumar and he mailed me the portables to Kathmandu.
Thanks for the great time and for your help!
